The shelves are from reclaimed timber or local Irish timber and are approx 30-35mm thick so can take pretty much whatever you want to put on it.
Standard stock shelves are finished in a natural Antique Pine colour and Distressed varnished and as they are reclaimed will or can show signs of previous wear, scratches, nail or screw holes, knots and natural holes and each shelf is individual and unique in look, colour tone and finish... if your not happy with this look then these particular style of shelves may not be for you?
