Monk's Bench
Made from reclaimed 50-60mm distressed pine this Cloakroom storage in a Monks Bench style has proved a big hit with customers.
Unlike traditional Monks Benches that have a lift up storage lid, we have designed this one to accept storage boxes so these can be stored not only below, in the well proportioned recesses but also on the top shelf . This helps to keep Items away from small hands, and with no lid to come crashing down, protect small fingers.
The storage spaces have been designed to accept baskets, these are available in a range of colours and finishes as seen in the pictures. With an abundance of coat hooks there is plenty of room for all family and many more guests. The height is also child friendly with a deep and well proportioned seat.
This is a heavy weight piece of furniture and designed to take the day to day use that any family, large or small can throw at it. The back of the bench is finished in 18/20mm pine planking, so for the people who like to lean, climb and clamber you will have no fear of pushing the back out. This piece of furniture would look great in any home and is as useful as it is beautiful.
